Primary responsibilities:
- Perform daily General Ledger operational activities in line with assignments from the Team Leader and/or Process Manager.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily accounting processes in accordance with established procedures.
- Execute month end closing activities, including calculation and posting of journal entries, trial balance reviews, and execution of system closing jobs and reports.
- Support year end closing activities, including preparation of audit packages and responding to internal and external audit requests.
- Perform monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations and follow up on identified discrepancies to ensure accurate balances.
- Support preparation of quarterly balance reviews and explain account movements and balances to Chief Accountants, Global Reporting, and affiliate teams.
- Support external audit activities by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Identify and report potential process improvement opportunities through the Innovation Funnel.
- Support the implementation of process improvement initiatives, including ideas, roadmaps, and local projects.
- Update and maintain process documentation and work instructions (DTP).
- Support other team members in day to day operational activities as required.
- Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Actively develop accounting, system, and process knowledge through training and knowledge sharing activities.
- Contribute to effective team collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Related Experience:
Knowledge:
- Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
- Understanding of accounting principles
- Good knowledge for performing activities using Microsoft office tools

- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
