Job Description - Head of Culture, Engagement & Learning Organization

About the role:

The Head of Culture, Engagement & Learning Organization plays a strategic role in shaping how Polpharma works today and evolves for the future. Operating across multiple markets and business units, this role turns culture, engagement, learning, and internal communication into powerful levers that accelerate strategy execution and business transformation.
You will partner closely with senior leaders, enable them to role‑model values and leadership behaviors, and ensure employees across the Group stay engaged, informed, and continuously developing. This is a Group-level leadership role with significant impact on organizational performance, leadership maturity, and cultural cohesion.

Your responsibilities:

Culture & Leadership

  • Deploy and scale the Group Culture Framework, embedding shared values and leadership behaviors across all markets and functions.
  • Lead culture transformation initiatives that strengthen agility, collaboration, inclusivity, innovation, and accountability.
  • Conduct culture diagnostics and pulse checks; convert insights into Group-level priorities and action plans.

Learning Organization

  • Build and execute the Group Learning Strategy to support capability building, talent mobility, and future-fit skills.
  • Drive adoption of learning platforms, and ensure consistent standards in leadership development, HiPo programs, and functional capability building.
  • Track and report learning KPIs, ensuring strong engagement and measurable capability growth across teams.

Employee Engagement

  • Lead the Group Engagement Survey and continuous listening mechanisms (pulse checks, feedback channels).
  • Translate results into clear priorities and ensure proper governance and accountability across business units.
  • Monitor engagement, retention risks, and well-being trends, recommending corrective actions where needed.

Leadership Enablement & Change Communication

  • Equip senior leaders to act as culture ambassadors and effective communicators during transformation and change.
  • Embed change communication frameworks into Group-level initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment.
  • Build effective two-way communication channels and strengthen internal narratives around strategy, transformation, and culture
  • Promote ethical behavior, transparency, and trust across all communication and culture efforts.

Organizational Development & Ways of Working

  • Promote cross-functional collaboration, inclusivity, agility, and growth mindset as core organizational capabilities.
  • Support the deployment of AI-enabled learning and productivity solutions across the Group.

Our requirements:

  • Approx. 12–18 years of experience, gained across several organizations.
  • Experience in leading culture transformation, employee engagement, internal communication, and learning/leadership development initiatives.
  • Background in consulting or equivalent in-house transformation experience, leading culture center of excellence.
  • Experience working in international companies or Poland-based roles with multi-country responsibility.
  • Strong ability to partner with senior leaders and influence across geographies and business units.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and facilitation skills; strong executive presence.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, with ability to translate insights into actionable plans and measurable KPIs.
  • Knowledge of AI-based learning and productivity tools is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages welcome.
