Your position

As Head of Enterprise AI & Intelligent Automation, you will report directly to the SVP, Head of Global Business Services, and serve as the executive owner of the AI agenda across Global Business Services and end-to-end business processes.

This is a highly visible leadership role with regular exposure to the Executive Team, where you will influence strategic decisions, shape the AI roadmap, and drive enterprise-wide adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation. You will be responsible for identifying where AI can create the greatest business value, defining the implementation roadmap, challenging existing ways of working, and ensuring successful execution and adoption across the organization.

As a member of the GBS Leadership Team, you will play a key role in transforming and digitalizing our global operations across Lead-to-Cash (L2C), Plan-to-Make (P2M), Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Hire-to-Retire (H2R).

You will work in close partnership with Business Leaders, IT, Global Process Owners (GPOs), Regional GBS Business Partners, Shared Services teams and strategic external partners to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable value.

This role is not about building AI models—it is about leading enterprise AI transformation, identifying business opportunities, selecting the right technologies and partners in close cooperation with IT, challenging assumptions, and ensuring AI delivers sustainable business impact through measurable adoption metrics.

Some international travel will be required.

Your tasks

• Define, own and continuously evolve the Enterprise AI and Intelligent Automation strategy aligned with RHI Magnesita's business priorities


• Build and maintain a portfolio and roadmap of AI, GenAI and Intelligent Automation initiatives across all end-to-end business processes


• Act as the single point of accountability for AI strategy, prioritization, implementation and business value realization within GBS and end-to-end processes


• Identify high-value AI opportunities and translate business challenges into scalable, practical AI solutions


• Lead AI initiatives from ideation and business case development through implementation, adoption and continuous optimization


• Partner closely with Business, IT, Global Process Owners, Regional GBS organizations and Shared Services teams to embed AI into day-to-day operations


• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, market trends, vendors and strategic partners, bringing innovative solutions and external best practices into the organization


• Challenge proposed solutions and ensure technology decisions are driven by business value, scalability and long-term sustainability


• Establish governance, prioritization frameworks and operating models for AI initiatives in alignment with enterprise standards and IT governance


• Orchestrate delivery across internal teams and strategic partners (e.g. Capgemini and other technology providers)


• Define KPIs and value realization metrics to measure the impact of AI initiatives


• Ensure responsible, secure and compliant use of AI technologies in accordance with corporate policies and applicable regulations


• Build AI awareness and capabilities across the organization while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement


• Prepare and present AI strategies, investment proposals and transformation to senior leadership and the Executive Team

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or another relevant field


• Extensive international leadership experience in AI, Intelligent Automation, Digital Transformation, Global Business Services or Shared Services within complex multinational organizations


• Proven experience leading enterprise AI transformation initiatives from strategy through successful implementation and measurable business outcomes is a must


• Hands-on experience delivering AI and GenAI solutions in business environments—not only defining strategy or providing advisory services


• Strong understanding of: Generative AI and enterprise AI applications, AI Agents and intelligent assistants, Intelligent Automation (RPA, workflow and process automation), Process Mining and Process Intelligence and Data, analytics and AI governance


• Demonstrated ability to identify AI opportunities, develop business cases and prioritize investments based on business value.


• Strong commercial mindset with experience managing technology vendors, consulting partners and software providers.


• Experience working across multiple business functions such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Supply Chain or Shared Services.


• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives across Business and IT.


• Experience presenting to executive leadership and operating confidently in a highly visible, strategic environment.


• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to drive change across global, cross-functional organizations.


• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
