Responsibilities and key activities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
- Collaborating with the Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Privacy teams
- Advising the company on corporate matters
- Overseeing regulatory matters
- Advising the management team on legal restrictions related to its operations
- Supporting the business with new initiatives
- Identifying legal issues and risks that may affect PayU’s operations (and ensuring that PayU is properly informed of these issues)
- Providing legal advice on the formulation and implementation of PayU’s strategies and policies
- Other tasks assigned by a supervisor within the scope of responsibilities
Qualifications and experience:
- Law degree
- At least 3 years of experience at law firms or as an in-house counsel at multinational companies
- Experience and strong technical skills in negotiating, drafting contracts and corporate matters
- Fluency in English and Polish (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of the payment or financial services industries
- Knowledge of MS OFFICE
- Privacy/GDPR knowledge
