Initiative Planning Senior Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Initiative Planning Senior Planner to join the Global Demand Planning team. This role will play a key part in centralizing demand planning activities across markets, with a primary focus on the Phase-In / Phase-Out (PIPO) process, process governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with Demand Planners, Market Teams, Supply Planning, Master Data, and Global Process Owners to drive standardization, process efficiency, automation adoption, and overall planning excellence across regions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and coordinate PIPO activities across multiple markets, ensuring accurate and timely Phase-In / Phase-Out execution, forecast conversion, and planning parameter maintenance.


• Investigate and resolve PIPO exceptions, data quality issues, and process defects, supporting successful product transitions.


• Drive centralization, harmonization, and standardization of PIPO processes across EMEA, Americas, APAC, and LATAM.


• Design and maintain global workflows, governance, standards, operating procedures, and clear responsibilities between central and local teams.


• Support PIPO automation in Blue Yonder and translate business needs into requirements for system and process improvements.


• Monitor process KPIs and drive continuous improvement to reduce manual effort and improve productivity, data quality, and planning effectiveness.


• Partner with regional Demand Planning, Global Supply Chain, Commercial, and Regional Planning teams to ensure alignment and adoption of global standards.


• Facilitate workshops, training, and process reviews, and communicate process changes, best practices, and performance results.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

• Experience with planning systems such as Blue Yonder or similar platforms.


• Strong Excel, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with experience in KPI reporting and dashboards (Power BI preferred).


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence across functions and regions.


• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.


• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
