Job Description - Inside Sales Representative Commercial Insurance

Distinguished Programs is a leading national insurance Program Manager providing specialized insurance programs to brokers and agents with specific expertise in Real Estate, Community Associations, Hospitality, Fine Art/Collectibles, Restaurants, Inland Marine, Executive Lines and Construction Professionals & Environmental. The Inside Sales Representative will function as a dual-faceted professional, blending the responsibilities of Inside Sales Representative with those of a sales support/operations representative. You will be part of the Community Associations program team that is focused on serving our condominium and homeowners associations, planned unit developments, CO-OPs, commercial condos and mixed-use clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct broker outreach to new and existing brokers to support the Community Associations program strategic growth initiativesand selling of products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing brokers through various channels including telephone and email correspondence.
  • Identify and promote product cross-selling opportunities with brokers.
  • Assist prospecting efforts of Business Development Manager and/or Sales Executive.
  • Serve as the primary support for Business Development Manager and/or Sales Executive.
  • Review broker inquiries to determine what appropriate action is needed.
  • Promote underwriting preferences and capabilities with brokers.
  • Collect and manage competitor information and share with colleagues.
  • Manage broker registration and reach out with an introduction welcome call.
  • Support with broker portal and other IT related broker inquiries.
  • Maintain Salesforce brokerage and contact data.
  • Coordinate brokerage gatherings, industry conferences and other team meetings.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years in the Property & Casualty insurance industry,
  • P&C insurance license preferred (6 months preparation time permitted).
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Sales and service oriented.
  • Analytical,time management and organizational skills.
  • Action oriented, problem solver and self directed.

LOCATION

  • This is a remote position.

COMPENSATION AND PERKS

  • $70,000 - $90,000 base salary plus bonus. Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
  • Summer Fridays (Leave at 2:00PM allFridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day).
