Internal Auditor

You will report to the Internal Audit Office Manager within the Polish market. On-hands experience in leading risk-based audits in an international environment and practical application of auditing standards issued by the Institute of International Auditors are critical for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality audits in order to improve organisation’s governance, risk management and system of internal controls;


• Lead / perform end-to-end audit engagements in order to achieve audit objectives within the agreed timescales and in line with the organisation’s risk-based audit methodology;


• Prepare audit documentation, including audit reports, in English;


• Subsequently follow up with Management to verify status of audit actions;


• Take personal accountability for results delivered in areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

• Ability to organise and express ideas clearly and to deliver verbal and written information in a structured, concise and pragmatic manner to make an impact;


• At least 3 years of experience in internal audit. Previous experience in the financial audit in one of BIG 4 companies will be an asset;


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in multicultural and matrix environment;


• Good analytical skills, fluency in excel, attraction to details;


• Controlling mind-set coupled with business acumen, flexibility;


• Energy, enthusiasm and „can do” attitude;


• Proficiency in English;


• CIA / CPA / CISA certifications (or equivalent) will be highly appreciated;


• Experience in conducting DORA-related audits is beneficial.
