IS Business Analyst for Communication

In this role, you'll be the strategic link between ABB Robotics' business needs and our digital communication platform team. You'll lead technical improvements to our corporate website and CMS system to support business transformation. Working with stakeholders, you'll understand their requirements and turn them into practical enhancements, ensuring our digital communication tools and website evolve to meet ABB Robotics' strategic goals.

This is a global role; the preferred locations are Poland, Czech Republic, Portugal, France, India or Spain. 

Your responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis by providing technical and business process expertise to support decisions on new or changed IS solutions and services within your scope
• Bridge business and technology by collecting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications for internal and external delivery partners
• Drive solution design using data analytics and advanced modelling techniques to identify opportunities, assess processes, and define solutions that align with ABB's IS strategy and business objectives
• Support continuous improvement by engaging stakeholders in service enhancement initiatives and ensuring solutions meet defined specifications through user acceptance testing
• Manage stakeholder relationships by collaborating with senior stakeholders to define costs, estimate efforts, pre-qualify change requests, and maintain visibility of upcoming demand
• Ensure compliance and quality by adhering to corporate IS policies, procedures, and governance standards while maintaining alignment between ABB's IS strategy and business strategy
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure proposed solutions meet user needs and align with design standards and digital experience goals.
• Support impact assessments and change analysis for enhancements, integrations, and platform updates.
• Define and validate test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and help ensure release readiness.

Qualifications for the role:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Functional Analyst, with proven skills in translating complex business requirements into technical solutions 
• Demonstrated ability to map and document business processes using modern tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar design and collaboration platforms 
• Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, particularly Adobe Experience Manager or equivalent systems, to understand digital communication infrastructure 
• Strong capability to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and influence stakeholders toward shared goals 
• Proficiency in business process analysis and specification development 
• Experience working effectively with both offshore and onshore teams, managing collaboration across time zones and locations 
• Demonstrated ability to provide operational support  
• Fluency in English; additional languages valued 
• Understanding of ITIL principles and their application in IT service management
