Job Description - IT Facility Systems Specialist (ACS, CCTV, Visiting) - Gdansk

Do you want to play a key role in shaping and scaling critical Facility systems across Arla’s global sites?

Join our Facility & Communication team and contribute to delivering secure, stable, and scalable solutions for access control, surveillance, and visitor management across Arla’s international footprint.

“This is a unique opportunity to build and mature services that directly support our physical workplaces across many countries. You’ll work close to the business, vendors, and technology — and your impact will be visible from day one.” - says Simon Wallerand, hiring manager.

How you will make an impact

As our new IT Facility Systems Specialist, you will take end-to-end DevOps responsibility (delivery, testing, and operations) for key Facility platforms:

  • Access Control Systems (ACS)

  • CCTV / Surveillance systems

  • Visiting / Visitor Management systems

These services are deployed across multiple countries including Denmark, Sweden, UK, Germany, Finland, and Poland.

You will ensure service stability, structured delivery, and growing maturity, while coordinating closely with our vendors, business stakeholders, and IT teams.

You will be joining a team focused on building scalable governance and improving service quality, with strong support from experienced Delivery Leads and specialists in the Facility & Communication domain.

Your key responsibilities include

  • Owning delivery, testing, and operations of Facility systems in a DevOps model

  • Coordinating vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and performance commitments

  • Defining and enforcing testing practices (functional, integration, and site validation testing)

  • Planning and supporting rollouts and upgrades across multiple countries and sites

  • Monitoring service performance and ensuring stability through KPIs, incident trends, and operational insights

  • Managing incidents and problems, ensuring root-cause resolution and proper validation before release

  • Establishing and running governance structures (KPIs, SLAs, service reviews, reporting)

  • Building and maturing processes, documentation, and service standards

  • Acting as a key interface between business, IT, and vendors

  • Supporting compliance with security, privacy, and operational standards

You will be part of the Product End User Devices (EUD) as part of the Foundation – Facility function. This product also include End User Computing, Microsoft 365 and Facility & Communications.

What will make you successful

We’re looking for someone with a mix of technical understanding, coordination skills, and a structured mindset, who enjoys building clarity in complex, multi-vendor environments.

Professional Skills

  • Hands-on experience with at least one facility platform, such as CCTV, ACS, or visitor management systems

  • Experience working with IT systems in operations or delivery roles (facility, infrastructure, or enterprise platforms preferred)

  • Understanding of vendor-driven service delivery and coordination

  • Experience with testing and validation of IT systems

  • Familiarity with IT service management processes (Incident, Change, Problem management)

  • Ability to interpret performance data, KPIs, and service reports

  • Strong analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving

  • Experience with audio-visual solutions is an advantage

Personal Qualities

  • Collaborative and communicative — you work effectively across IT, business, and vendors

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written

  • Willingness to travel 20–30% of the time, approximately twice per month

  • Proactive and self-driven — you take ownership and drive progress

  • Structured and detail-oriented — especially when working with governance and testing

  • Outcome-focused — able to translate work into real business value

  • Comfortable working in a global, multi-site environment

In End User Devices, we work closely together, support each other, and pride ourselves on a strong team spirit. You will experience a steep learning curve, but you’ll never walk it alone — we cheer, guide, and lift each other every day.

What do we offer?

  • A supportive and friendly team ready to help you grow

  • A role with influence: the work you do directly improves connectivity for thousands of colleagues.

  • A culture built on collaboration, development, and openness.

  • A modern and stable organization where your growth, ideas, and initiative matter.

At Arla, professional development is a priority. Our positive, collaborative environment is designed to bring out your best and support your journey.

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).

We are committed to salary transparency and will discuss the salary range and benefits before the first interview.

Would you like to join us?

If you want to shape the future of Arla’s Facility systems and help build secure, scalable, and well-governed services — we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply as soon as possible, as we review applications continuously.
