Main purpose of the position

We are seeking a IT Project Governance Manager to support the Portfolio & Project Management function by ensuring effective coordination and execution of key IT governance processes. The role will focus on driving consistency, quality, and transparency across core portfolio processes, while supporting leadership in operational efficiency and strategic execution.

Key expectations:

You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of IT governance processes, in line with defined standards and timelines.

You will drive process discipline, transparency, and data accuracy across the portfolio of projects, while acting as a central coordination point to enable smooth collaboration between IT, business stakeholders, and leadership. You will maintain and continuously improve portfolio processes, tools, and reporting in alignment with governance frameworks and IT strategy.

You will provide reliable operational support that enables leadership to focus on strategic priorities, while promoting a culture of standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Project Management function.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate IT governance processes end-to-end


• Plan, organize, and monitor portfolio processes, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and governance requirements


• Prepare and support portfolio reporting, including dashboards and executive materials, ensuring data quality and actionable insights


• Facilitate stakeholder alignment by working closely with project managers, business stakeholders, and IT leadership


• Support the Head of Portfolio & Project Management with structured operational tasks, reporting, and coordination activities


• Drive continuous process improvements, identifying optimization opportunities and implementing enhancements in portfolio ways of working

Key qualifications:

• Proven experience in PMO, project coordination, or portfolio support roles within an IT environment


• Understanding of IT governance processes and project lifecycle management


• Strong ability to structure, coordinate, and manage complex processes end-to-end


• Strong Excel and reporting skills, with the ability to manage and interpret portfolio data


• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and seniority levels


• Strong communication skills with a structured and professional approach


• Highly organized, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities


• Comfortable working in a governance-driven, structured environment


• Focus on continuous improvement and standardization

Nice to have:

• Degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field


• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
