Job Description - IT Support Specialist (Junior/Mid)
The IT Specialist manages Local IT for one or more onshore locations and is accountable for overall service delivery. This includes ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and alignment with IT standards and strategy during all changes. The role provides professional end-user support and training, ensuring all IT equipment at local offices operates effectively. Additionally, the IT Specialist oversees IT assets (e.g., PCs, TVs, and AV equipment) and maintains compliance with associated contracts and agreements.
Your responsibilities
Assessment and governance of capacity and lifecycle management of Local IT assets.
Continual improvements of all Noble IT services (e.g., self-help, hardware ordering, support
tools, meeting rooms and AV equipment).
Ensure that emergency rooms, meeting rooms and Local IT offices are safe, clean, and
presentable and that equipment is frequency tested and working.
Adhere to Noble cost management and lifecycle governance principles for all IT hardware.
Review and approve invoices for in-scope hardware and service agreements.
Function as subject matter expert and escalation point in case of escalated and high severity
incidents, projects, initiatives, or changes to the Local IT landscape.
Assure adherence to Noble’s Cyber Security Framework.
Maintain relationships with IT management and IT staff.
Adhere to professional standards and Noble’s Administrative Policy Manual.
Our Requirements
Higher education in IT or other related fields.
1-10 years of experience in IT Support with specific knowledge in the following:
Desktop Support (Windows 11).
Mobile Device Management
Excellent facilitation, verbal and written (formal and technical) communication skills with a good command of the English language (min. B2).
ITIL Foundation and ITSM framework experience.
ServiceNow experience desired but not essential.
Ability to work effectively across and within diverse teams.
Strong execution skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure to deliver quality results within standards and meet deadlines.
Strong customer service skills.
