Java Developer

Are you ready to build high-performance backend systems for a leading global payments platform?We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a long-term engagement with our client in the payments sector.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java
  


• Implement integrations and work with Oracle databases (SQL/PL/SQL)
  


• Collaborate with analysts and architects on system changes and modernisation
  


• Support limited frontend tasks using Angular 16+ when required
  


• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and delivery processes
  

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of commercial Java development experience
  


• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, with proven Oracle DB expertise
  


• Practical knowledge of Git and understanding of design patterns
  


• Experience in Agile delivery and production system deployment
  


• English at B2+ leveL
  

Nice to have

• Exposure to Angular 16+ or willingness to support frontend tasks
  


• Experience in payments or financial services
  


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation
