Jira Productivity Analyst - remote

We are looking for a Jira Productivity Analyst that can produce weekly insights into team productivity by distinguishing genuine contribution using data from Jira, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Timing, and other relevant systems.

What your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze engineering time logs in relation to Jira velocity (story points completed per sprint).
• Monitor effort versus delivery by comparing logged hours (via Timing, GitLab, and Jira) against actual output.
• Identify delivery bottlenecks across teams and products to improve efficiency.
• Generate weekly reports highlighting underperformance, overengineering, and velocity discrepancies.
• Maintain performance dashboards and configure alerts for detecting anomalies.
• Investigate incident logs and trace root causes back to specific engineering workflows.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence (BI), or engineering performance analysis roles.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, GitLab, Confluence, and time-tracking systems (e.g., Timing, Harvest).
• Strong command of SQL and experience with BI platforms such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Background in SaaS, Agile software development environments, or technology-focused FP&A is highly desirable.

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
