About the Role:
We are seeking a Jira/Atlassian Engineer to design, build, and optimise a Jira board tailored for our Back Office teams (HR, Finance, and Legal). You will be implementing automation, integrating Jira with existing platforms, and optimising workflows to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing Jira workflows tailored for back-office teams


• Automating routine tasks and approval flows


• Integrating Jira with platforms like Slack, BambooHR, TeamTailor, Xero, etc.


• Improving reporting and dashboard visibility


• Implementing security best practices (permissions, audit trails, etc.)


• Delivering documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth handover

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in Jira/Atlassian administration and automation


• Strong skills with Jira Automation, Groovy scripting, and API integrations


• Familiarity with Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence


• A DevOps mindset – experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms


• A knack for workflow optimisation and independent project delivery
