Junior Accountant

A2R Junior Accountant - Gdańsk  (Contract for substitution)

You will join the A2R team responsible for key general ledger processes and month-end closing. We work closely with the business and continuously look for improvements – giving you real influence on how we operate. 

How you will make an impact

As a Junior Accountant in the A2R area, you will be responsible for delivering key general ledger processes and ensuring high-quality and timely financial closing. You will cooperate with various business units and support the development of financial processes in an international environment. 

• Perform General Ledger period-end procedures according to Timetable, 


• Act as Balance Sheet owner: build knowledge about assigned balance sheet accounts, clear and reconcile these accounts, 


• Prepare and post journal vouchers, recurring entries, allocation of cost, 


• Supporting your Team in delivering tasks in accordance with service level agreements 

What will make you successful  

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or similar 


• Experience in accounting  


• Fluency in English 


• Good knowledge of Excel; SAP is an advantage 


• attention to detail and analytical mindset


• ability to work under deadlines


• strong collaboration and communication skills. 

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
