Junior Accountant - Cash Management - Gdańsk

How you will make an impact


As a Junior Accountant in the Payment & Allocation Team, you’ll support daily financial processes that keep our global cash flow running efficiently. You will gain handson experience in accounting activities, learn best practices, and collaborate with internal partners across markets.


You will join our Global Shared Services Centre in Gdańsk, working closely with colleagues across Finance.


 Specifically, you will be responsible for:



  • Executing daily payments and collecting direct debit

  • Allocating incoming and outgoing transactions

  • Performing reconciliations of cash and balance sheet accounts

  • Supporting issue resolution within the Payment & Allocation area

  • Creating and updating process documentation

  • Acting as a point of contact for external and internal auditors

  • Providing support in ad-hoc tasks and project


 


What will make you successful


We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, curious about finance processes, and ready to take their first steps in accounting.


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • A degree (or be in the final year of studies) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field

  • Previous experience in finance/accounting (internships or student jobs welcome)

  • English fluency (written and spoken)

  • Basic knowledge of Excel and an interest in developing more advanced skills

  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and openness to learning new tools and processes


Nice to have:



  • Experience with SAP FI or automation (e.g., working with robots)

  • Proficiency in German


 


Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
