The part you will play:
As a Junior Pricing Manager at Talixo, you will play a crucial role in optimising Talixo profitability. Your responsibilities will cover a strategic approach to yield management, considering supply related opportunities and challenges. You will be working in collaboration with the sales - pricing and fleet team in order to identify priorities and capitalise on opportunities to enhance our overall performance.
Responsibilities:
Track and Manage Profitability: Take charge of monitoring and managing city profitability, focusing on insights derived from a purchasing perspective (capacity & price). Implement strategic pricing decisions to ensure optimal financial outcomes for the company.
Yield Management: Implement a comprehensive approach to yield management by analysing and adjusting pricing strategies based on factors like capacity and availability. Ensure that pricing structures align with demand patterns and market dynamics.
Work closely with the demand team to align pricing strategies with market priorities. Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability, contributing to overall business growth.
Foster collaboration with fellow Pricing Managers to maintain an optimal pricing strategy. Ensure that profitability benchmarks are met through effective coordination with the Fleet Team to support them in seeking opportunities and negotiating deals.
Requirements:
Proven experience in pricing, yield management, or related areas, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
Demonstrated success in implementing pricing strategies that positively impact profitability.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, trends, and market dynamics.
Working knowledge in using analytical tools and software for pricing analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with sales, pricing and fleet teams.
Ability to convey complex pricing strategies and decisions in a clear and concise manner and adapt to changes in the market, industry trends, and company priorities.
Experience in building pricing related features and tools from a scratch is a plus.
