Lead Finance Professional, Accounting Compliance - Gdańsk

As a Lead Finance Professional – Accounting Compliance, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our internal controls, supporting audit excellence, and ensuring that our financial operations adhere to the highest regulatory and accounting standards.

How you will make an impact

In this role, you will ensure that our operational accounting processes fully comply with IFRS/GAAP, tax regulations, and internal accounting principles. You will review financial data for accuracy and potential non-compliance, enhance internal control frameworks, and serve as a trusted partner to Chief Accountants and Finance Managers.
Your work will directly support risk mitigation, audit readiness, and process standardization.

Specifically, you will:

• Leading adherence to IFRS/GAAP and internal accounting principles.


• Reviewing complex transactions and ensuring compliance at a higher oversight level.


• Developing and managing internal control environments.


• Delivering high‑quality audit documentation and managing audit interactions more independently.


• Driving risk mitigation and policy enforcement.


• Influencing senior stakeholders and driving process improvements.

What will make you successful

We are looking for candidates with:

• Education in inance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field


• 5 +  years of experience in finance/accounting


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and tax environment


• Understanding of internal control frameworks


• Solid analytical skills and practical experience working with SAP


• Audit experience,  as an advantage


• ACCA or similar certificate , as an advantage

You collaborate well with stakeholders, ask the right questions, and use data to provide insights that truly matter.
