Job Description - Lead Process Architect - Process & Quality Management

IS Department Manager for Process and Quality Management


 

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead exciting assignments that support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will define, manage, and monitor various aspects of Core IS to ensure continuous improvement of IS services and processes. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of expertise, to contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness. You will manage and implement the Core IS process framework and drive foundational quality initiatives delivering quality maturation through process standardization and governance.

The work model for the role is: #hybrid

This role is contributing to the Core IS, SGE Process Architect team in Poland and Switzerland. Main stakeholders are IS Process Sponsors, IS Process Owners, IS Process Managers, IS Service Owners and Effectiveness Leads.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Implementation of the ABB IS process framework into Core IS with proactive contribution into further enhancement of the process framework

  • Execution of consulting, short term assignments across IS Organization to ensure the full alignment with IS standards and governance

  • Process analysis and process optimization that creates a relevant added value for the Process Sponsors, Process Owners, Process Managers and Process Practitioners.

  • Development and management on how Core IS policies, standards and practices are documented, implemented and communicated to support all Process Sponsors, Owners and Managers.

  • Assessments of maturity and compliance of processes within Core IS to ensure increasing process standardization and efficiency.

  • Development of graphical representations of processes to facilitate understanding and decision making together with process owners and process managers.

  • Organizational management by monitoring and auditing the adherence to the framework and its processes.

  • Advisory in process scoping and process responsibilities.

  • Identification and removal of the boundaries and collaboration with other stakeholders to address the needs of the organization.

  • Organization and moderation of process management CoP to ensure alignment and continual improvement within the process community

  • Planning and implementation of process management and process improvement projects

  • Support in documentation review by ensuring that standards are fully applied by performing methodical reviews of process drafts during the process design lifecycle.

  • Support in identification, definition, and delivery of strategical targets for IS SGE Quality and Process Management

  • Establish and manage the two-way feedback mechanism, and feedback loop techniques in process operations

  • Execution of the maturity assessments for the processes and services to ensure that the current state of process framework and service fundamentals is understood and transparent.

  • Facilitation of the high-profile workshops and meetings to remove roadblocks that slow or prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives

  • Implementing the best practice and quality management across the IS Process and Service Owner’s organization


Qualifications for the role

  • Years of relevant experience required: 4 years of experience in similar position in service area/business area/specific service line/IT services/security

  • Educational background relevant to the position: Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related discipline

  • Certifications required:  ITIL 4 Foundation or COBIT

  • Certifications preferred: Lean Six Sigma yellow belt or higher, Agile, Project Management
