Logistic Senior Buyer
Location: Katowice
Hybrid model of working (3 days per week from the office)
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in logistics, transportation, or supply chain categories
- Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management at regional or EU level
- Strong understanding of logistics operations (transport modes, warehousing, distribution networks)
- English proficiency at C1 level (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cost models and procurement data
- Experience working in a multinational and matrix organization
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, or related field
Nice to Have
- Experience with EU‑wide tenders and cross‑border logistics sourcing
- Familiarity with E‑procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba, Coupa)
Key Tasks
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking for logistics and transportation services
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Manage contracts lifecycle including renewals, amendments, and risk mitigation
- Monitor KPIs, supplier scorecards, and service performance
- Identify consolidation and optimization opportunities across EU logistics flows
- Support strategic tenders and multi‑country logistics projects
- Report savings, risks, and performance metrics to senior stakeholders
