We are now looking for a Manager, Customer Account Management in Customer Operations in Finance, Finance & Control to join our team in UPM Business Hub Wrocław, Poland.

In this role, you will oversee receivables, collections, bad debt, and credit risk operations globally, ensuring seamless delivery and compliance. You will play a key role in optimizing cash flow, mitigating credit risk, while acting as a trusted partner to assigned businesses, aligning their specific requirements with standardized C2C processes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at building relationships across departments and functions to drive alignment and business success, we’re looking forward to hearing from you. - Barbara Serwotka-Kałużny, Customer Account Management 

 

What you will do 

  • Lead the execution of receivables, collections, bad debt, and credit risk management processes, ensuring consistency and compliance 

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and consistently boost operational efficiency to enhance working capital, cash flow, and risk mitigation 

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership on collections strategies, accounts receivable trends and credit risk exposure 

  • Act as a key contact and trusted partner to assigned businesses, understanding the business specific requirements while ensuring alignment with standardized C2C processes 

  • Encourage collaboration among cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency 

  • Act as a change leader and consistently support process standardization, harmonization and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and efficiency 

  • Drive adoption of new operating models and process standards, secure buy-in from key stakeholders and ensure processes and systems are aligned with policies & rules 

  • Develop and manage talent by identifying and cultivating the essential skills and capabilities within the team to ensure sustained performance 

 

 

Who you are 

  • You have experience in customer account management, finance operations, or order-to-cash processes, such as receivables, collections, credit management, or related areas 

  • You have experience supporting or leading teams and helping others develop through coaching, feedback, and clear priorities 

  • You are comfortable working with KPIs, operational targets, and data to monitor performance and support decision-making 

  • You understand how working capital, cash flow, and credit risk impact the business and are interested in improving outcomes in these areas 

  • You collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and can translate business needs into structured, standardized ways of working 

  • You are open to change and motivated to improve processes through standardization, harmonization, and automation 

  • You communicate clearly and build trust-based working relationships in a matrix environment 

  • You are fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment
