Mergers&Acquisitions Analyst - Energy Industries

Your responsibilities
- Market research / scanning to find potential target opportunities for the division, leveraging search tools from 3rd party providers
- Development of a pipeline tool that enables prioritization of potential opportunities
- Developing company profiles of potential acquisition targets, including an overview of the business, main customers, technology overview, financial performance, ownership structure, among others
- Business plan modeling of potential acquisition targets as well as estimation of potential deal synergies
- Supporting business leaders in development of a deal thesis, including key value creation levers and key risks/considerations
- Support M&A manager on commercial due diligence processes and preparation of presentation materials for internal stakeholders
- Engage with Energy Industries business leaders during regularly scheduled review of potential target opportunities
- Supports identification if improvement possibilities in the division’s M&A approach and contributes to their implementation
Our requirements
- Minimum experience of 3 years as business analyst
- Expert knowledge of excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in Energy, Chemical, Digital highly desired
- Finance, M&A, or commercial due diligence experience desired
- Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Fluency in English essential (both written and spoken)
