Network Engineer

Requirements
/ Your Skills

• High proficiency in key network protocols and solutions, including OSPF, BGP, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, IPsec, SSL/TLS VPN, SDWAN, RADIUS, Captive Portal, NAT, Wi-Fi
• Experience in managing network devices, particularly switches, routers, and firewalls/NGFW, with an emphasis on FortiGate devices from Fortinet and Cisco switches
• Preferably, knowledge of additional Fortinet products such as FortiClient, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiAnalyzer
• Basic knowledge of at least one cloud solution from providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience in implementing network projects
• Deep interest in network security
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with non-experts in the field
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level

Duties
/ Your Role

• Implementation of new solutions in the existing network infrastructure connecting diverse locations and cloud environments, utilizing Fortinet solutions
• Ongoing maintenance and enhancement of network infrastructure, including upgrading the operating systems of network devices
• Active participation in consultation processes aimed at creating added value for proposed network solutions
• Analyzing and effectively resolving current tickets at L1/L2 and L3 levels
• When time permits, the opportunity to engage in projects from related fields such as cloud technologies, network management, and IT systems management

IT Team

The IT team at Unity Group, in short, is dedicated to "saving the world." In their spare time, they maintain and develop company systems and ensure the continuity of the organization's operations. The IT team primarily serves internal clients but also acts as a point of contact for external suppliers providing both on-premise and cloud solutions. Currently, there are about 20 of us in sub-teams including Service Desk, SysOps MS, SysOps Linux, Application Administrators, Network Administrators (NOC), and Security.

The NOC (Network Operations Center) team is responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure and IT systems. Their main tasks are to ensure service continuity, respond quickly to outages and issues, and minimize any potential downtime.
