Finance BPO - 3-6 months initial contract - English and ideally French speaking - Hybrid

We are currently looking for a Finance BPO to join a S/4HANA freelance opportunity with a global end client of ours.

Start: October 2026

Duration: 3 - 6 month initial contract with long term extensions likely

Location: Hybrid – Remote with up to 50% travel to Paris, France

Languages: English speaking

Role/Responsibilities

• Strong previous SAP FI and accounting process knowledge, excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.


• Lead the optimisation, design and implementation of accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with the Group's Core Model. Identify opportunities to leverage new SAP functionalities, implement accounting best practices and recommend improvements to systems and processes.


• Act as the primary point of contact for Key Users within the assigned scope, working closely with SAP experts, the Finance Lead, the Controlling BPO, the implementation partner, Finance Management and Shared Service Centre (SSC) teams.


• Ensure adherence to the defined Core Model, support end-user training and facilitate the adoption of the new SAP S/4HANA solution and associated finance processes across the organisation.


• Organise and oversee user acceptance testing, ensuring the solution meets business requirements and project objectives. Provide functional expertise throughout deployment, go-live and post-go-live support.


• 10+ years of experience implementing SAP FI, ideally across both ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA, with strong knowledge of multi-ledger accounting, treasury and fixed assets. Proven ability to design, redefine and implement accounting processes within a complex, international environment.
