Team/Role Overview

Team manages almost 1000 OpenShift cluster globally. Team required to support and troubleshoot issues. Build automation and test and integrate new product and functionality with OpenShift. Team interact with lots of developers and vendor which allow one to expose to wide verity of technologies.

What you’ll do:

Individual will be participating on various project and be on call for troubleshooting issues. One is expected to lead their respective project to conclusion. Individual in this role will work within team as well as peer teams and clients including presenting their work to management.

• Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenShift Container Orchestration Platform and Ansible Automation Platform.

• Engineer, deploy, manage and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain Ansible automation to deploy and manage OpenShift containerized infrastructure and applications.

• Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as compute, storage, network, logging and monitoring.

• Work closely with application teams and developers ensuring reliability, functionality and performance of container orchestration platform.

• Engage in the containerized application lifecycle, design, development, operation and decommissioning.

What we’ll need from you:

• Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills of Openshift and Kubernetes  

•  Able to interact with team and peer team, must be self-driven to achieve the objectives

• Strong understanding CI/CD, GitOps and Ansible

• Ability to code in any popular programming language like python, go, java etc.

• Good understanding of server hardware and networking and load balancing

•  Good verbal and writing skills for presentation and documentations
