Role Overview

This person will report to Orders and Billing Team Leader and support functions for payment processing for Planet’s acquiring and software business. The role includes also overseeing billing operations and processes in order to ensure collection of account balances.

What you will do:

• Ensure the team handle and process daily orders and invoice queries, monitoring SLAs
• Overseeing billing operations and processes in order to ensure correct invoice issuing, billing for invoiced orders, and reviewing account discrepancies.
• Attend adhoc call requests regarding escalations or process enhancements
• Manage escalations and work with team to establish root cause and improvements
• Prepare financial statements and reporting
• Identify automation and improvement opportunities; and work with Product & Tech and Change team to guide the implementation of improvements
• Develop procedures and controls to manage financial risks according to company´s policies and regularly review the risk register to document any new risks associated with the department
• Perform HR tasks to support team members, regular performance reviews and team member development and growth

• Degree in accounting or a related field
• 3+ years’ work experience as a Billing Supervisor or similar role
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience with billing and invoicing, and/or accounts receivable (preferably within different countries)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel
• Multi-lingual - English is required, other European languages (especially German) are desirable
