Your expertise will be the driving force behind developing cutting-edge tools for distributed messaging systems, a key element in our trailblazing autonomous driving platform. As an OS Tool Software Engineer, you'll spearhead the enhancement of both developer and production environments, contributing to our groundbreaking Software Defined Vehicle OS (SDV OS). This is your chance to be at the forefront of automotive innovation, shaping the future of autonomous driving with us!

• Specify, design, and implement functionality and User Experience of tools for SDV OS such as messaging monitoring tool, messaging recording/replay tool, performance tool
• Work with messaging systems based on Data Distribution Service (DDS) spec (https://www.omg.org/omg-dds-portal/)
• Be responsible for the software and tools for the vehicle of the future

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent practical experience
• Good command of C and C++
• Experience with or willingness to learn Rust
• Experience in Linux system software development, including distributed computing
• Understanding of distributed computing systems (set-up, usage, development)
• Familiarity with some modern logging and monitoring systems such as Logstash, Elastic Search, Kibana
• Familiarity with some modern distributed protocols or frameworks such as GRPC, Protobufs, SomeIP, DDS
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Fluent English

• Experience working with DDS or ROS2
• Proficiency in Rust programming
• Working experience with containerized environments
• Knowledge and experience in automotive products, especially Vehicle API
• Working experience with multi-site, multi-national and multi-contributor teams.
• Other technologies of interest: time series databases (InfluxDB, Prometheus), analytics platform (Grafana, Tableau)

• Resume Review- Coding Test - 1st Interview with our Engineering Lead Poland(Approx. 1 hour) - 2nd interview with Poland's Domain Experts (Approx. 2~3 hours) - 3rd Interview with HQ's Domain Experts(Approx. 1 hour) and Interview with HQ's HR for Cultural Fit (Approx 30 mins)
• Coding Test: The purpose of this test is to observe your problem-solving approach, and the test score is not the sole determinant. Candidates are expected to demonstrate efficient problem-solving skills using algorithms.
