We are looking for a Process Controller, Inventory Accounting to join our team in Wrocław UPM Business HUB, Poland.

What you will do

• Ensure quality and compliance with UPM internal controls, business rules, policies, and legal requirements in accounting and reporting
• Provide expertise and guidance on complex accounting, compliance, and reporting matters to stakeholders and service providers
• Oversee the performance of the outsourcing partner in Inventory Accounting processes, ensuring reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
• Contribute actively to the continuous improvement of end‑to‑end Inventory Accounting processes, reporting services, and related tools
• Participate in audits by providing subject‑matter expertise and support
• Contribute to projects and process development initiatives that enhance quality and effectiveness, and support the implementation and adoption of new solutions
• Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Manager

Who you are

• You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field and have a minimum of three years of relevant experience
• You bring solid subject‑matter expertise in Inventory Accounting
• You have a good understanding of end‑to‑end inventory and reporting processes
• You have hands‑on experience with SAP, particularly MM (Materials Management) modules related to inventory processes
• You manage processes effectively and demonstrate strong organizational skills
• You lead or support change initiatives with a proactive and collaborative approach
• You use advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze data and support reporting needs
• You approach challenges with a problem‑solving mindset and can prioritize tasks effectively
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish. Other European languages will be considered an asset

The position holder will report to Finance Manager, UPM Business HUB Poland.

This job requires regular work from office every week in hybrid working model (3 days per week from the office).
