Product Specialist, IVD, NEEU


 


Location: Poland (covering NEEU countries)

An exciting opportunity is now available for an expert to support the growth of our IVD business in this dedicated segment, you will be highly results driven, commercially focused and


will work closely with the sales team and distributor for IVD to support the sales process through your product knowledge on pre-sales demonstrations, application support, tender


process and marketing support, particularly in key account breakthrough.


 


As a subject matter expert, this role will be shaped by the right candidate, you will be a self-starter, with an unquestionable influencing and negotiation skills, energized by a varied and

Your responsibilities:


Market Intelligence:



  • Responsible for the investigation and analysis of the IVD market in the region (including industry trends, products, market dynamics and strategies of the main competitors).

  • Determine customers' needs and requirements, including clinical demand of testing panels.

  • Analyze regional medical development, insurance policies, and Clinical Diagnosis trends, etc.


 


 Sales team support:



  • Support the sales team with the formulation and implementation of reagent marketing strategy and clinical demand promotion for current and new customers.

  • Channel empowerment for reagent marketing and execution of sales strategy.

  • Provide pre-sales, in-sales application support to regional sales and distributors, especially on key account breakthrough and key project management.

  • Provide external and internal product trainings as well as end-users onsite presentations.

  • Support the distributor team in tender management.


 


Promotions:



  • Present the company at congresses, symposiums and scientific events.

  • As the owner for organizing local promotional events with the local distributor and/or Mindray subsidiary.

  • Localize the product strategies from HQ based on the situation of local market. Produce local version (& local language if appropriate) of promotional materials that fits promotional strategies in local market


 


 Local product management:



  • Help the European/HQ team in collecting local information for current and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.

  • Support new product launches with local market analysis, product development programs, return-on-investment analysis.


 


Customer Relationship Management:



  • Identify and map the major key opinion leaders (KOLs) /experts in the region.

  • Build strong relationships with KOLs, clinicians, laboratory directors, and other stakeholders.

  • Gather feedback from customers to drive product improvements and enhancements.

  • As the local reference person in NEEU to lead clinical evaluation, academic studies and scientific events.


 


Technical Expertise:



  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in IVD technology, diagnostic assays, and laboratory equipment.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing scientific publications; Provide technical guidance to customers and sales teams regarding product features, usage, and troubleshooting.


 


Collaboration:



  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other local EU product specialists/managers, sales, service and application teams, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.


 


Quality Assurance and Compliance:



  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (including new IVDR) for product documentation, labelling, and claims.


 


What are we looking for in you?



  • At least 2 years working experience in in-vitro diagnostics industry, prefer to have Product & Marketing experience in Chemistry and/or Immunochemistry field.

  • Experience of working in Poland business market in multinational companies of IVD field is a plus.

  • Able to travel in 30-50% of working time. There will be occasions to travel longer for overseas training and overseas marketing events

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, whilst communicating in a positive and constructive manner with both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams, proactively influencing the strategic processes.

  • Alongside a great eye for detail and the ability to work well under pressure, you will showcase the right behaviours.

  • Strong relationship management skills, both internally and externally.

  • Obvious natural curiosity to go above and beyond expectations.

  • Showcases creative thinking and a willingness to implement new approaches with entrepreneurial flair.

  • Shows agility and flexible thinking.

  • Fluent in written and spoken Polish and English with the ability to work in Poland without requiring sponsorship.
