Production Planning Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Team Leader to join an international manufacturing environment in Szczecin.

The role combines production planning, SAP expertise, data analysis and people leadership, with responsibility for leading a team of Production Planners and ensuring effective capacity utilization and strong delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

  Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the Production Planning team.

  
  


• 
  

  Plan and release production orders and monitor execution against plan.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze demand versus production capacity and manage scheduling, loading and bottlenecks.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor KPIs including On-Time Delivery, Plan Adherence and Capacity Utilization.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with Production, Material Planning, Quality and Customer Service.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure material availability is aligned with production requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.

  
  


• 
  

  Drive continuous improvement across planning, capacity, lead times and inventory.

  
  

Candidate Profile

• 
  

  3–5+ years of Production Planning experience within manufacturing.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong hands-on experience with SAP ERP.

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of MRP, capacity planning and production scheduling.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous team leadership or people management experience.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong Excel, analytical and reporting skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.

  
  


• 
  

  Proactive, hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  
  


• 
  

  English minimum B2 level.

  
  


• 
  

  Based in Szczecin or within a reasonable commuting distance and comfortable with an on-site role.
