Your role
The Purchasing Specialist will play a key role in leading sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories or manufacturing departments. You will guide relevant stakeholders to actively support purchasing deliverables, ensure strategic alignment, and drive effective supplier collaboration. In this role, you will lead supplier selection processes, manage commercial negotiations (pricing, T&Cs, agreements, Incoterms), and ensure timely execution of finalized agreements.
You will maintain oversight of supplier performance, capability, and capacity while ensuring that all agreed procurement tools, templates, and processes are applied consistently.
This position is based fully on‑site at our location in Dołuje, near Szczecin.
Your accountabilities:
Strategic Procurement & Commercial Management
Lead and have oversight of all sourcing and procurement activities for your assigned category or manufacturing department.
Lead commercial discussions including pricing structures, T&Cs, agreements, Incoterms, and DPO.
Minimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of procured materials through strategic negotiation and supplier management.
Identify, drive, or participate in global tenders and optimization initiatives to realize cost reductions based on volume, value engineering, and standardization.
Supplier Management & Category Strategy
Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, capability, and capacity meet business needs.
Build strong KPI reporting structures and conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
Lead Category Teams through the 9‑Step Sourcing Process and ensure supplier/category sourcing strategies are effectively implemented.
Implement and oversee supplier communication strategies aligned with manufacturing and procurement objectives.
Operational Procurement & Process Management
Lead manufacturing planning and procurement activities to support operational continuity.
Ensure adherence to defined procurement tools, templates, processes, and governance standards.
Oversee inventory levels, re‑order cycles, and alignment with demand planning requirements.
Understand and manage cost drivers, commodity market trends, and total cost‑of‑ownership impacts within your responsibility area.
What you need to succeed:
Job Knowledge & Complexity
Strong understanding of business finance, including project/product cost structures and component cost models.
Knowledge of product development processes and production engineering is preferred.
Solid understanding of financial principles such as P&L, cash flow, ROI, contract valuation, and business case assessment.
Ability to manage and interpret market trends and cost drivers within relevant commodities.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an S&P (Sourcing & Procurement) professional.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing or operational environment.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Fluency in Polish & English.
Readiness to travel to our different production sites.
