Quality Assurance And Food Safety Expert

Responsibilities

• Act as the Quality Assurance and Food Safety representative for the designated brand or brands,


• Manage and improve food safety systems, standards, procedures and documentation, including HACCP-related requirements,


• Ensure compliance with AmRest, franchisor and legal standards across restaurants, suppliers and supply chain partners,


• Monitor product quality and safety across suppliers, warehouses, distribution centers and transport operations,


• Coordinate supplier quality controls, product tests, specifications, quality evaluations and cutting sessions,


• Manage food safety-related external services, including pest control, microbiological testing and cleaning chemicals,


• Follow up on sanitary inspections, internal and external audits, microbiological results and corrective action plans,


• Act as an expert in solving quality and food safety issues, non-conformities and incidents,


• Manage customer, restaurant and product quality complaints in cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders,


• Prepare local and global audit summaries, QA/FS reports, recommendations and improvement plans,


• Lead or support QA and Food Safety projects in designated brands, cross-brand or cross-market scope,


• Cooperate closely with Operations, SCM, Procurement, NPD, HR, suppliers, franchisors and global QA/FS teams.

Requirements for Candidate

• University degree, preferably in Food Technology, Human Nutrition and Consumer Sciences, Food Chemistry, Food Hygiene, Food Gastronomy or a related field,


• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, food production, QSR, retail, FMCG, supply chain quality or a related area,


• Practical knowledge of GMP, GHP and HACCP; certification or strong background in this area will be an advantage,


• Experience in audits, inspections, non-conformities, corrective actions and documentation management,


• Experience with suppliers, product quality, complaints, specifications, microbiological testing or statistical sampling will be an advantage,


• Ability to manage projects and work cross-functionally in a matrix organization,


• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify root causes, trends and improvement opportunities,


• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills,


• Advanced English, both written and spoken,


• Very good command of MS Office / Office 365 tools,


• Driving license and openness to business travel.
