R&D Project Manager

In this role you will lead and manage the execution of one or more R&D projects in BU High Power Rectifiers (HPR). You will coordinate work of cross-functional project teams, lead in partnership with business managers, steering groups, product management and external parties and ensure value creation. 

In addition to strong conceptualization skills, you bring proven strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional and ability to communicate clearly and to constructively collaborate in an agile environment across different functions and disciplines.  

• A M. Sc. degree in engineering sciences, or equivalent. 

• Over 5 years’ experience in project management in industrial R&D environment, preferably with experience in process industries and/or power electronics. 

• Demonstrated leadership abilities, marked by a collaborative and solutions-focused approach. 

• Strong know-how and experience in setting up effective project governance and communication strategies, as well as consolidating agile and lean execution with structured business decision processes. 

• Up-to-date knowledge and demonstrated experience in agile and lean project management practices. 

• Active knowledge of digital tools for project management, ideation and project team engagement. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-cultural environment.   

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Other language knowledge is an advantage.
