R&D and Project Office Director

Your responsibilities

• Supervision of subordinate personnel, conflict resolution, and participation in coordinating the allocation of human resources to projects in cooperation with competency section leaders.
• Participation in recruitment processes, creating employment strategies, and optimizing the engineering team's efficiency.
• Participation in shaping company processes.
• Participation in the selection and implementation of management systems.
• Participation in the selection of ICT security solutions.
• Supervision of the execution of R&D projects.
• Close cooperation with the Business Development department to ensure consistency in the execution of R&D projects with the company's product strategy.
• Participation in creating the company's technology strategy in close cooperation with the Chief Technology Officer.

Our requirements

• At least 10 years of professional experience in managing or conducting R&D work in the field of modern technologies, telecommunications, control and measurement systems, or electronics.
• Higher education in a field related to electronics, telecommunications, physics, or a related field.
• Experience in managing teams of at least 10 people.
• Organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Experience working with safety standards, particularly ISO 27001, IEC, and ITU recommendations.
• Experience in defining and implementing management processes and systems.
• Experience in implementing ICT security solutions.
• Experience in leading or conducting R&D projects for the European Commission or the European Space Agency.

Quantum Systems (QS) is a business area of Creotech Instruments that encompasses control and measurement systems designed for modern, breakthrough ground technologies. Specifically, this area includes systems for Big Science institutions (accelerators, tokamaks, astronomical observatories, etc.), ultra-precise time synchronization systems, and quantum technologies: management of quantum processors and quantum key distribution. Working in QS guarantees participation in leading European R&D projects in the field of modern technologies, particularly the emerging quantum technologies.

Due to the dynamic development of activities in these areas, we are looking for an R&D and Project Office Director, who will oversee engineers and projects in the QS area.
