IT Operations and Control Room Engineer

As part of the UniCredit Group, Aion Bank and Vodeno will accelerate their digital banking offer in strategic markets and will act as a sandbox for innovation for the wider UniCredit Group. 
Based on financial sector know-how and expertise in cloud technology, we provide a set-up of customer-facing and daily banking services which include: digital onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, and lending with a white-label mobile app channel access.

We are currently looking for a IT Operations and Control Room Engineer ready to join our adventure.

• Active monitoring of production and test applications/environments
• Building or actively cooperating with dev teams in building automated monitoring solutions
• Raising incidents in case something is wrong
• Coordinating incident resolution with SLA in mind (Jira)
• Coordinating outages resolution, escalation process etc.
• Executing scheduled processes (not yet automated) or actions (e.g. EOD processing)
• Follows standard operating procedures, system development life cycle methodology and policies

• Good understanding of IT operations in medium to large scale of environments
• Disciplined approach to IT processes always with customer in mind
• Familiarity with ELK or other log analysis tools
• Familiarity with Jira or other ticketing tools
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English and Polish
• Ability to coordinate escalation process in case of major incidents and outages
• Openness to working in a 24/7 shift-based model
