Lead Backend Developer with Chinese

Your job will be to lead the development of a part of a distributed system that serves the hospitality industry. The system consists of many domain-oriented microservices developed under a few cross-functional teams. You can bring a smile on the faces of thousands of people working in hotels across the globe. 

You'll be responsible for: 

• leading the team and giving guidance for developers, 
• collaborating on the development and enhancement of data-centric solutions, 
• working closely with Product and Technical Teams to understand requirements and ensure smooth communication across the teams, 
• designing, implementing, and then maintaining new functionalities inside a living system. 
• Ensuring technical collaboration of the teams in China and other international technology teams 
• Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality software by promoting good practices. 

Technologies used: 

• C# 9+, .NET, .NET Core, 
• Microservices architecture, 
• Microservices, Swagger, Docker, 
• PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka,  
• Visual Studio 2022 and Resharper, Rider 

• experience in team leadership in software development area, 
• being fluent in Object-Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms, 
• good knowledge of C#, .NET, relational databases and data warehousing 
• fluent English and Chinese with strong verbal and written skills, 
• knowledge of data exchange file formats and data transfer protocols, 
• being an open-minded, proactive person. 

Nice to have: 

• understanding of Domain-Driven Design, 
• experience with CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns, 
• experience with distributed systems and web services, 
• understanding of frontend technologies. 

How we work - remote/hybrid work:

• Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice) - 4 times a month 
• Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office - 2 times a month
• Employees over 100 km - remote work
