Project Engineer - Europe

An International fast growing Independent Power Producer is looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in PV, wind and BESS. The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects involving the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage). The company has operations in Israel and Europe (western, Northern and eastern Europe) with a diversified portfolio of income-generating projects, projects during construction and pre-construction that total over 2.0GW and an additional 20 GW / 30 GWh in different development stages.

•  Project Engineering Management of external and internal stakeholders/consultants/engineering company.
•  Assist with the definition of solar PV design criteria for optimization for cost reduction and performance improvement.
• Perform solar resource assessments and energy production estimates with PVsyst and other optimization tools.
• Support, from a technical point of view, the procurement phase (request for proposal, contract negotiation) with equipment suppliers and BoP/EPC Contractors.
• Support in the assessment of new opportunities for investment with internal feasibility analysis or with external technical advisors.
• Collaborate closely with various departments throughout the project cycle – Procurement, Business Development, Project Development, Construction and Operation.
• Support in improving internal processes.
• The position will also include exposure to other renewable technologies: Green Hydrogen

• Previous PV experience.
• Good understanding of PV Design.
• Previous WTG experience – Advantage
• Previous BESS experience – Advantage
• Technical Project Management experience
• Experience in the technical contractual phase for renewable energy Plants.
• Familiarity with Project Development is preferrable
• Preferrable experience in high voltage connections and sub-stations
• Softwares: PVsyst, Autocad, Microsoft Office suite, Word and Excel. Strong writing and presentation skills.
• Other skills: Pro-active approach, structured way of working, capacity of managing and integration of external engineering companies/advisors.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly through formal reports, presentations, teleconferences, memoranda and email.
• Must be able to function equally well in fast-paced, collaborative, multi-discipline teams, and self-directed independent assignments.
• Must be self-motivated, with an ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
