Job Description - Senior Project Development Manager - Poland

Description:

Responsibilities:

Manage the development of wind and solar projects, with a focus on land securing, permitting and connection activities
Leading and managing the Project Development team
Directing and preparing power project licensing documents and supporting environmental technical studies
Management of tender preparation and familiarity of tendering process
Coordinate with internal Technical, Financial, and Legal teams and other stakeholders to implement and accelerate all project related work
Ongoing coordination with regional transmission organizations, regulated utilities, commercial project developers, ministries, administration, environmental departments, financers, local municipalities, and suppliers
Monitoring and reporting relevant regulation changes and new regulation
Effectively manage sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of works and value for money
Communicate progress to management overseas

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Law – a must, MBA/M.Sc. – an advantage
8-10 years of relevant experience
Previous experience within the renewables sector or in project development
Demonstrated and proven success in leading teams and coordinating work assignments in accordance with project timelines - a must
Work in parallel on several project developments
Excellent communication skills
High proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Ability to create and maintain information database, spreadsheets, Gantt charts, presentations, and text documents.
Deep understanding of relevant regulations
Ability to review and understand engineering drawings
Demonstrated success in leading teams and coordinating work assignments in accordance with project timelines - a must
Ability to prioritize and organize work in order to meet project deadlines
Excellent negotiation skills
High level of professionalism and ethical standards
Willingness to travel frequently within the country and abroad, occasionally outside normal working hours
Experience working for an international company
