Job Description - Test Automation Developer

We are searching for a Software Developer focused on testing new Product Features. It is not always easy to test a solution from day one, and that's why we need a person who can use his developer knowledge to test new features.The challenges that lie behind this position are:

Understand the product that will be tested
Understand technical documentation to understand how to test products
Understand the topology of our environment to allow testing on different environments (PROD, STAGING, DEV)
Understand the dependencies between components with the help of Data Dog
Report bugs in an automated or manual way.
Provide automations that ensure that no buggy api is deployed to production

Create, implement, and enforce test strategies for CDQ Cloud Platform
Set up (configuration and administration) of the system to perform the API end-to-end system tests
Specify, compose, automate, and execute the necessary test suites, test cases, test sequences, test measurements, and test experiments
Review and design technical specs, and translate them into cases that assure maximum test coverage
Communicate with the team daily to share and build knowledge (Developers, Product Owners)

2+ years of relevant industry experience as a Java Developer or Automation Tester with Java
Willingness to write automated tests based on product descriptions
Open to write Test Strategies
Open to collaborate with Product Owners to understand product requirements
Eager to introduce new testing approaches
Good Java and JUnit knowledge
Basics knowledge of Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMq, REST, Microservices
