To strengthen our WACKER SILICONES team, we are looking for a Sales Manager (f/m/d) focusing on Consumer & Health Care Silicones, ideally located in Poland.


 


 


Location: Poland (home office)
Division: WACKER SILICONES – Business Team Consumer & Health Care
Regions: Central Eastern Europe / EMEA/LATAM


 


 


About the Role



As a Sales Manager for Consumer & Health Care Silicones, you will be responsible for achieving sustainable and profitable growth in your assigned region and customer portfolio. You will act as the primary interface to customers—managing the full sales cycle, coordinating internally, and driving business development in line with our strategic goals.


 


Your Responsibilities


 



Customer & Sales Management


 



  • Achieve sales targets within the assigned region.

  • Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, and presentations.

  • Identify new business opportunities and support customer acquisition.

  • Provide competent commercial and technical guidance to customers.

  • Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close contracts.

  • Document activities and opportunities in Salesforce.


 


Sales Planning & Market Insights


 



  • Develop annual and monthly sales plans and manage forecasts.

  • Track order flows and analyze customer behavior and market trends.

  • Monitor competitive activity and report insights to the business team.


 


Internal Coordination


 



  • Ensure smooth communication with Customer Service, Technical Service, Marketing, Regulatory & Quality, and other internal partners.

  • Act as first point of contact for customers in sales-related matters.


 


Technical & Product Support


 



  • Maintain solid understanding of product specifications, applications, and quality
    requirements.

  • Coordinate technical inquiries with internal experts and follow up as needed.


 


Commercial & Operational Excellence


 



  • Manage pricing, quotations, and allocation processes.

  • Oversee stock availability, lead times, and logistics planning.



Your Profile


 



  • University degree in technical or business field, or equivalent training.

  • Background in silicone elastomers and/or health care business preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally in the silicones or specialty chemicals industry.

  • Strong technical interest; knowledge of silicones is an advantage.

  • Fluent in Polish and English (additional languages beneficial).

  • Experience with Salesforce; strong CRM/SAP proficiency is a plus.

  • Independent, structured work style and ability to perform under pressure.

  • Strong negotiation skills, decision-making ability, and confidence in closing deals.

  • High mobility and willingness to travel regularly for business.
