SAP AVC & LO-VC Specialist

 REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


2. 2+ years of experience as an SAP Consultant specializing in Variant Configuration (AVC & LO-VC).


3. Strong understanding of SAP LO-VC (Legacy Variant Configuration) and AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration).


4. Experience with object dependencies, constraints, and rules-based configuration.


5. Knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP and how variant configuration interacts with these modules.


6. Familiarity with pricing procedures and BOM (Bill of Materials) in configurable materials.


7. Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging (preferred but not mandatory).


8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


9. Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate business needs into system configurations.


10. Excellent communication and documentation skills.


11. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.


12. Experience with S/4HANA and migration from LO-VC to AVC.


13. Understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 for configuration-related applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Design, configure, and maintain SAP AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration) and LO-VC models.


2. Define characteristics, dependencies, constraints, and object dependencies for product modeling.


3. Ensure accurate and efficient product configurator setup to support business needs.


4. Collaborate with business teams and functional consultants to gather requirements for product configuration.


5. Provide expertise on best practices for variant configuration and recommend process improvements.


6. Assist in resolving issues related to incorrect configurations, pricing, or rule setups.


7. Work closely with SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and other relevant SAP modules to ensure seamless integration.


8. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new configurations and enhancements.


9. Assist in migrating from LO-VC to AVC (if applicable).


10. Optimize configuration models to improve system performance and maintainability.


11. Prepare technical and functional documentation related to variant configuration.


12. Provide user training and support for key users on configuration-related functionalities
