Purpose of the role
RtR SAP Technology Expert is responsible for delivering technical solutions as per the product backlog, collaborating with Product Owners to define optimal solutions, and coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for the development, testing, and deployment of initiatives. This role involves hands-on technical work, issue reporting, risk management, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Solution Development: Build and deliver solutions within the assigned technological area, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Backlog Refinement: Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog for effective delivery.
Hands-On Work: Support financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes
Issue Reporting: Identify and report issues, risks, and potential improvement ideas to relevant stakeholders.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality in all technical deliverables.
Testing and Deployment: Coordinate with SMEs to test and deploy solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in technical processes and methodologies.

Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Degree in IT, Economics, or a related field.
Language: Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
Technical Expertise: Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including newer innovations and cloud solutions. Deep knowledge of SAP FICO (GL, AR, AP, AA, financial closing).
Agile Methodologies: Some experience working with agile methodologies, preferably SAFe.
Tools: Basic knowledge of JIRA. Expert in SAP S/4HANA
Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
