Safety Data Sheet Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create Safety Data Sheets for new products, maintain accurate Safety Data Sheets for existing products


• Define proper and compliant Hazard labeling


• Provide required Safety Data Sheets to internal and external stakeholders


• Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors and other departments on a daily basis with regard to various aspects of SDS compliance


• Lead medium size SDS projects


• Provides reports and updates

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Health and Safety (or closely related technical field)


• Fluent Business English


• Developed level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office package Excel, PPT, SAP preferred)


• Familiar with CLP, REACH


• Previous industry or SDS related work experience required


• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with OSHA safety and health regulations; TSCA registration and compliance; DOT/IATA regulations and compliance


• Working knowledge of the Global Harmonized System (GHS)


• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and with all levels of the organization and stakeholders
