Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and reporting, and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously. The main responsibilities of the role include reviewing associate's bookkeeping work and preparing the monthly financials for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Review financial statements and ensure they meet accuracy and accounting standards.
• Bookkeeping Review: Oversee and review associates bookkeeping work, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Monthly Financials: Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports for clients, ensuring that all financial records are updated and accurate.
• Client Engagements: Manage multiple client accounts and ensure timely delivery of financial reports and services.
• Communication: Liaise with clients and colleagues to resolve any financial discrepancies or issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a CPA firm or accounting firm.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel is required.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is a plus.
• Attributes: Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in providing clear and concise financial updates to clients.

Nice-to-Haves:

• CPA firm or accounting firm experience.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards.
