Senior AI Agent Engineer (Python) | REMOTE (Poland)

Gatekeeper is a SaaS-based, next-generation Vendor & Contract Lifecycle Management (VCLM) & Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Solution. We help our customers to restore visibility of their vendor contracts, take control of their vendor and contract processes and safeguard compliance of their third parties.

Due to our strong global growth and private equity investment from Vista Equity Partners we are looking for a new Senior AI Agent Engineer (Python) to join our growing, experienced and talented technology team.

This is a rare chance to join a true technology startup, working with a close-knit team to help deliver and maintain new product features.

Note: This is a fully remote position, open to applicants based anywhere in Poland.

In this role you will:

• Design, build, extend, and support AI-powered autonomous agents for our product.

• Develop and optimise AI workflows using AI frameworks

• Work with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama, etc.) to integrate AI-driven decision-making.

• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to automate complex workflows and improve efficiency.

• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure AI agent implementations.

• Regularly review and improve prompt engineering, memory management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.

• Participate in daily stand-ups, design discussions, and peer code reviews with our global remote team.

• We are at the exciting early stages of building our AI agents, giving you the opportunity to shape the architecture, best practices, and future of AI-driven automation in our product.

• 6+ years of professional Python experience.

• Experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, etc.).

• Hands-on experience working with LLMs and vector databases(Elasticsearch, Opensearch, Pinecone, etc)

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI automation.

• Strong knowledge of API integrations, data pipelines, and backend development.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Passion for innovation and problem-solving in AI-driven workflows.
