Senior AR Accountant (Mixed Shift)

The Role
You will play a key-role within Finance Team in Poland with responsibility for AR activities related to Global GV entities.

The main purpose of the job is:

• Lead and oversee customer account management, ensuring timely and effective communication regarding receivables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex collection issues and provide strategic guidance on process improvements.
• Analyze and present aging reports and outstanding balances to senior management, including risk assessments and action plans.
• Supervise and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Oversee the processing of receivable invoices and sales orders, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor and manage the reconciliation of invoicing versus goods dispatched, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
• Act as a backup for the team leader during urgent situation or unplanned absences, ensuring continuity of operations and team support.
• Work on a rotating shift schedule: one week from 10:00 to 18:00, followed by one week from 14:00 to 22:00.

What you will need to be successful:

• Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Word; ability to leverage tools for reporting and automation.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards; experience with audit preparation
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
• Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Minimum 3 years of experience
