Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support the delivery of client engagements across Global Business Services, Shared Services and Finance Transformation. Position Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of transformation and business services engagements. You will work alongside senior client stakeholders and consultancy leadership to help organisations assess, design and implement improvements across their operating models, processes and service delivery structures. Your contributions will directly impact how clients optimise their business services functions, improve operational efficiency and achieve their transformation objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of GBS, Shared Services and business transformation engagements from initiation through implementation
- Conduct current-state assessments, process reviews and maturity assessments to identify improvement opportunities
- Gather, analyse and interpret business and operational data to inform strategic recommendations
- Design target operating models and develop transformation roadmaps aligned to client objectives
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to gather insights and build consensus
- Prepare high-quality client deliverables, presentations and reports that communicate findings and recommendations clearly
- Analyse end-to-end business processes and identify standardisation, optimisation and simplification opportunities
- Support benefits tracking and value realisation initiatives to measure transformation impact
- Build effective relationships with client stakeholders and project teams across multiple workstreams
- Contribute to business development activities including proposals, presentations and thought leadership content
- Support the development of consulting methodologies, tools and intellectual property to enhance consultancy capability
Requirements
Experience:
- 8 years' experience within consulting, Global Business Services, Shared Services, Finance Transformation or business transformation environments
- Proven experience supporting transformation or process improvement projects
- Strong understanding of Shared Services and Global Business Services operating models
- Experience analysing business processes and designing operating models
- Demonstrated ability to prepare client-facing reports, presentations and recommendations
- Exposure to Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations or Enterprise Services functions (desirable)
Skills:
- Global Business Services (GBS) and Shared Services expertise
- Business Transformation and Operating Model Design capability
- Process Improvement and Process Mapping knowledge
- Business Analysis and Data Analysis skills
- Stakeholder Management and Workshop Facilitation experience
- Change Management understanding
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
- Problem-solving and commercial awareness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering or related discipline
- Relevant professional certifications advantageous (Lean Six Sigma, Prince2, PMP, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
