Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Activeviams ActivePivot technology
• Implement complex financial data models and analytical systems for market risk P&L using Java, SpringBoot, and Python
• Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for financial data
• Develop comprehensive unit and system tests to ensure code quality and reliability
• Make use of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Urban Code
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions

 Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of development experience in enterprise applications
• Strong proficiency in Java development, including Spring/SpringBoot frameworks
• Solid experience with Python for data processing and automation
• Thorough understanding of Unix environments and shell scripting
• Experience with development and implementation of unit and system testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions and Urban Code
• High level of English proficiency with excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

 Nice to Have:

• Experience with Activeviams ActivePivot (highly desired)
• Knowledge of Activeviams ActiveUI and front-end development with React
• Basic understanding of financial products, market risk, P&L systems, and trading concepts. Familiarity with data generated in Murex.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M for job scheduling in production environments
• AWS knowledge
• Spanish language skills
