The Senior Developer will have to ensure the delivery of quality software solutions via development, testing or support activities and is also actively involved in providing support to junior team members via reviewing and coaching activities if required.

Essential Duties

• Functional and technical understanding and analysis of user stories in close collaboration with different stakeholders so that business requirements are clearly understood
• Development of these user stories as working software in team-oriented collaboration in an agile way of working with feeling for UI/UX and focus on the customer
• Design and development of software modules and business process logic
• Taking the total ownership regarding scope, content and quality in accordance with agreed schedules, procedures and standards
• Root cause analysis of defects/issues and drive resolution
• Good communication skills (verbal & written) to achieve excellent customer service
• Monitor and control metrics for development, testing or support area
• Being a team player and flexible

Education

• Degree holder in IT/IT related fields

Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in software development
• Experience of both client-side and server-side technologies
• Experience in working in Agile development teams
• Experience of continuous integration, app build and delivery systems
• Experience of writing secure applications and coding defensively
• Experience of writing unit tests
• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns
• Experience with any public cloud e.g. Azure, AWS
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
