What You’ll Do
- Build, refactor, and evolve a robust, reusable library of UI components — atomic elements, tokens, and patterns — used throughout Text’s applications.
- Collaborate with designers, frontend engineers, and other product teams to ensure design system adoption and best practices across all squads.
- Review and challenge incoming requests for new components, maintaining a mindset of reusability and consistency.
- Own and drive documentation, design guidelines, and developer guides to lower the entry barrier and encourage contributions from across the org.
- Proactively maintain, test, and improve the system — balancing feature development with maintenance, technical debt, and new requirements.
- Work within a collaborative, low-bureaucracy environment that values ownership, open feedback, and pragmatic delivery.
Our Tech Stack
- Languages & Frameworks: React (with TypeScript) and CSS.
- Design & UI: Figma for design handoff, Chromatic and Storybook for component development and documentation, and modern CSS.
- Codebase Management: Monorepo setup using Turborepo.
- CI/CD: Automated pipelines and deployments integrated with CI/CD workflows.
- Testing: Focus on robust visual, unit, and integration testing within the component library.
